Christian organisation The Way Ministry, which supports people who are homeless, vulnerable or at risk of becoming homeless, has been nominated for Charity of the Year sponsored by Reading Today.

A nominator said: “This charity has grown over the last couple of years. It is a great charity that has responded to the needs of the people of Reading, with loyal volunteers, friendly and welcoming.”

Another nomination said they “serve the community with a passion not only for people but through the love of Christ; they’re an example of what we’re called to do.”
