Carly Rice volunteers her time for Children Heard and Seen “where she makes a huge difference to parents and children affected by parental imprisonment,” said her nominator for Volunteer of the Year, sponsored by AB Walker.

“Carly is very understanding and compassionate. The trauma training she delivers is not only informative but also delivered in a non judgmental way. 

“Hard topics were discussed in an open manner, without causing any distress. I found it very useful and will try to be kinder to myself from now on,” they said.
