Cisco Systems

Their incredible commitment to and support for Royal Berks Charity over the past five years, has led to Cisco Systems being nominated for the Business in Action award, sponsored by Boyes Turner.

The company has raised over £50,000 for a wide range of vital projects at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – including a contribution to their Breast Screening Appeal in 2024, helping to improve early detection and care for patients across our region.

“Beyond financial support, the Cisco team have shown unwavering dedication through volunteering, giving their time and energy to support our hospital and community,” said their nominator.

“Whether walking many, many very hot miles (and enduring many blisters!) along the Camino Trail planting new trees as they go;  getting their hands dirty in our staff health and wellbeing garden digging asparagus beds; or helping to set up and take down key events like Walk for Wards – they’ve always been there to lend a hand.

“Their partnership goes far beyond fundraising – it’s built on genuine care, collaboration and a shared belief in making a difference. Cisco is not just a corporate partner; they are a cherished part of the Royal Berks family.

“Thank you, Cisco, for being with us every step of the way.”
