Hamilton School

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ at Hamilton School, a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Special School in Reading, says their nominator for School of the Year, sponsored by Qwerty.

“Hamilton School treats every child individually.

“This school has been a u-turn to my son's learning, and the progress he has made under their care is uplifting to see as a parent.”

They added: “The staff are always going above and beyond their role, taking time to make school a safe place for the pupils and enjoyable. Pupils here are always seen with smiles and laughter.

“Children know that the staff are there for them to support them and keep them safe whilst they learn. The school supports parents as well as students and are always there to answer questions you have or provide advice and support,” they added.

“There is no ‘one size fits all’ for care of the children.”
