Go Perform

Sports injury clinic GoPerform “are a living, breathing example of what true entrepreneurialism in Reading looks like,” said their nominator for Entrepreneur of the Year sponsored by Rabbits Vehicle Hire.

The business has since had a tremendous positive impact on thousands of people in and around Reading, they added.

They now have 20 employees, work with two placement students every year, support 1,000+ local athletes every year (across multiple sports, amateur/professional clubs, universities and colleges) and run a successful podcast with thousands of downloads each month.

“All of the above is a snowball effect of the hard work and time invested to develop their business over the last seven-and-a-half years.

“In that time they’ve successfully navigated huge restrictions to their business. When lockdown forced them to shut their physical premises, they pivoted to provide remote services online; all without furloughing any staff – a notable achievement in its own right at the time.”

Post-pandemic they have gone from strength to strength, moving to a new purpose-built world-class training facility supporting individuals as young as 10 to 82 years old.

“They do this by working with individuals to provide better outcomes for them, which has a knock-on positive societal impact for people and those close to them.

“The impact they have is therefore extremely wide reaching and I consider them to be a massive, massive Reading success story!” said the nominator.
