Liam Keitch, coach of RG4FC Samurai, has been recognised for his commitment to helping young people develop confidence, character and a sense of belonging through football.

Giving up evenings and weekends to support players both as athletes and as individuals, Liam is praised for creating an inclusive environment where every child feels welcomed, respected and valued, regardless of their background.

“His reward is seeing the confidence grow in a young person or watching the local community come together on match day,” said the nominator.

“He teaches the core values of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship, lessons that serve young people well both on and off the field,” they added.

Liam regularly steps in to help other youth teams across the club, ensuring players always have the support they need. He also volunteers with the adult section, giving up additional evenings to support the club’s Wednesday night six-a-side team.

“Liam represents the very best of community service, giving his time, energy and heart to ensure young people have a safe, supportive environment to grow,” said the nominator.
