A cheerleading sports team based in Woodley deserves to win an award for their “incredible energy, unwavering commitment, and remarkable achievements in 2025”, says a nominator.

“Not only are they 2025 Regional, National and British Champions – this year, they smashed their goals by taking home the title at the Finals Cheerleading Championships that took place in Florida USA,” said their nominator for Team of the Year sponsored by Cherubs Floral Design.

“Representing the UK was a testament to their relentless hard work and team spirit. Winning the event and being crowned 2025 Champions was the icing on the cake!

“They’ve gone the extra mile to make a real impact – whether it’s through supporting their peers, mentoring younger athletes, or representing Reading with pride on the international and world stage,” they added.

“Beyond the trophies and medals, they consistently lift those around them – both figuratively, through their positivity and support, and literally, with the strength and skill that defines their sport.

“Their dedication and unity inspire the whole community, making them truly worthy of this recognition,” they added.
