John Linz
“The most selfless, caring, honest, kindest teacher”, Jon Linz is the youth mental health and wellbeing lead at Little Heath School whose help has been ‘life-changing”, says a parent.
His nominator for The Inspiration Award, sponsored by McDonald’s, said: “He has helped my children through their time at school and has literally been life-changing for me as a parent. “Life-changing is a big statement that I don’t use lightly but the work he does for my family alone has been exactly that.
“Without his help and support throughout school I don’t think we would have survived,” they added.
“Little Heath are so blessed to have such an incredible human being in their lives; he has worked for the school for 20-plus years and changed the path for so many.
“He is worth his weight in gold,” they continued. “A selfless, kind man with a big heart, who makes all the children who reach out to him feel safe, cared for and he does exactly the same for parents. He has gone above and beyond countless times for our family.
“What he has done for our community deserves recognition; he deserves to be made to feel special. He is a very special human and I know my children and myself will forever be grateful for him. He champions all the children but especially the children who may be struggling; he creates a safe, supportive place for them to offload during the school day.
“He is the most selfless, caring, honest, kindest teacher I have ever come across.”
