Nominations Are Now Open!

The Pride of Reading Awards 2026 launch took place on 17 April. Sponsors and supporters celebrated that nominations for the 2026 awards are now open. The event, at Malmaison was hosted by Andy Briggs, The Oracle and Andy Jones, BBC Radio Berkshire, World Groove CIC entertained the guests at the launch. Thanks to all our sponsors and supporters for their commitment and loyalty to Reading and the annual Pride of Reading Awards.

If you  know a local individual, organisation or business making a real difference to their communities, please nominate now?  

When nominating please provide as much information as possible, nominations will be judged on the information provided on the online form. Nominations should be no more than 250 words and the closing date for nominations is Friday 31 July 2026.

Please provide a high-resolution photo of your nominee using the link in the form. Nominations without a quality photo and detailed information explaining why your nominee deserves this award cannot be considered.

We’d like to reassure you that it’s not about how many times someone is nominated – our independent panel of judges focus on the quality and detail within each nomination. A thoughtful submission really does help tell their story.

All nominations will be reviewed and those shortlisted invited to the Pride of Reading Awards Lunch and Presentations later in the year.
