Representing both her country and her home town of Reading, Meghna has achieved impressive results, including a silver medal at the U17 French International, gold medals in two senior silver tournaments and a bronze at U17 level.

"”Currently ranked number three in the country in her age group and number one in Berkshire, she suffered ankle and wrist injuries for six months, but showed great resilience to return to the game,” said the nominator. “Competing against older, more experienced players, she demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and determination to come back stronger and secure gold medals at senior level.”

“Beyond competition, Meghna is committed to giving back. She volunteers with the Sport in Mind charity and supports younger players through coaching, helping to inspire the next generation.”

Putting Reading on the Map is sponsored by the Purple Turtle and Jacob’s the Jewellers.
