A new venue at Station Hill that has quickly become one of Reading’s most talked-about spots has been nominated for the Hospitality Award, sponsored by Cherubs Floral Design.

Flight Club Reading opened in May 2026 offering “an innovative hospitality” concept combining premium food and drink with its award-winning Social Darts experience.

A traditional game of darts has been reimagined, using automatic scoring, multiplayer games and Action Replay videos, making the experience fun for all, regardless of ability or experience.

The nominator highlighted Flight Club’s distinctive Victorian fairground-inspired interiors, blended with the familiar atmosphere of a traditional pub. The design also includes nods to Reading landmarks and historic businesses, cementing its place in the town’s ongoing story.

With capacity for up to 250 guests, the venue offers cocktails, food, corporate event spaces and a welcoming environment for friends, families and colleagues alike.

“Flight Club has become a standout addition to Reading’s hospitality sector and an important part of the regeneration of Station Hill,” the nominator added.

Since opening, Flight Club has embraced its local community, getting involved in Reading Cocktail Week, screening FIFA World Cup matches, and introducing Family Sessions during the summer holidays, opening the venue up to a wider audience.

The nominator added: “Its commitment to bringing people together through fun, innovation and exceptional service makes it a deserving nominee.”
