Community First Responders in Reading
”Lifesavers” Community First Responders (CFR) are the “hidden gems” of South Central Ambulance Charity which nominated them.
The nine Reading CFR volunteers respond to 999 calls ranging from falls to cardiac arrests “and there is nothing that they cannot start treatment for”.
This year they have already clocked up 1,500 hours keeping their communities safe as well as fundraising and educating school children.
