Reading is a town which successfully combines a powerful local economy and unrivalled connectivity, with a rich history, diverse communities and a vibrant cultural and arts scene and for almost half a century The Mayor, Councillor Tony Page has had a hand in all of it.

Cllr Page was appointed Mayor of Reading in May this year, almost 50 years to the day he was first elected as a local Councillor when he was a student at Reading University. He has overseen key developments and modernisations in the borough as well as chairing innovative Reading Buses.
