A photographer who volunteers his time free to charities and “works from a place of love for Reading and its communities” has been put forward for The Chris Tarrant award sponsored by The Oracle. A nominator said: “Mark has overcome many challenges in life to become an incredible photographer of events and locations in and around Reading. 

“His photos of the town have attracted eight million views on google and have become synonymous as images of our town,” they said.

“He promotes businesses and events with his photos via his presence on social media for no financial benefit whatsoever; everything he does is voluntary and done from a place of love for Reading and its communities.

Another said: “Mark has spent many years working for all sorts of charities with his photography skills covering many events all free of charge.”
