Kevin Farrell of the restaurant Vegivores produces amazing delicious vegan food. He was praised for his hard work and determination to spread the joys of Vegivores to everyone, to be involved with and help local charities and to work alongside other small independents.
Everything he does is for the customers and the staff, believing that customers should receive above average experiences
He has offered free food for staff since the restaurant opened because they should try everything and love what they make/serve every day and motivates his staff even when he's not feeling motivated himself, said a nominator.
The award is inspired by and in memory of journalist Hilary Scott.
