Grassroots Music Award Nomination Form

Recognising an organisation, venue or event  that has made an exceptional contribution to developing, supporting and celebrating live grassroots music in Reading.

Please use this form to nominate someone/organisation for a Pride of Reading Award. Please provide as much information as possible, nominations will be judged on the information provided on the online form. Nominations should be no more than 250 words and the closing date for nominations is Friday 31 July 2026.

All nominations will be reviewed and those shortlisted invited to the Pride of Reading Awards Lunch and Presentations.

We’d like to reassure you that it’s not about how many times someone is nominated – our independent panel of judges focus on the quality and detail within each nomination. A thoughtful submission really does help tell their story.

Nominations without a quality photo and detailed information explaining why your nominee deserves this award cannot be considered. Nomination tip – Please include clear examples of how the organisation, venue or event has supported grassroots music in Reading. Focus on their impact – such as helping emerging artists, creating performance opportunities, or strengthening the local music scene – and why their contribution stands out.
