Terry Dixon
A “one-man ambassador for Reading”, Terry “has opened people’s eyes to the remarkable heritage that Reading has to offer”. He leads Reading Walkabouts, guided walks of the town, raising thousands for charities.
Terry was one of the volunteer walks leaders for the inaugural Reading Walks Festival in May and is a volunteer Welcome Ambassador for visitors coming through Reading Station every Wednesday. “He is knowledgeable, kind, dedicated and a credit to Reading”.
Terry’s award was presented to Richard Bennett as Terry could not attend the event.
