Climate and Sustainability Impact Award Nomination Form

Recognising a group, business or individual who by their commitment and dedication, has brought people together to create collective and positive environmental change and innovation for the better. It celebrates those who are committed to delivering creative solutions for a more sustainable future.

Please use this form to nominate someone/organisation for a Pride of Reading Award. Please provide as much information as possible, nominations will be judged on the information provided on the online form. Nominations should be no more than 250 words and the closing date for nominations is Friday 31 July 2026.

All nominations will be reviewed and those shortlisted invited to the Pride of Reading Awards Lunch and Presentations.

We’d like to reassure you that it’s not about how many times someone is nominated – our independent panel of judges focus on the quality and detail within each nomination. A thoughtful submission really does help tell their story.

Nomination tip – a strong nomination in this category should clearly show what changed because of this person or group’s actions. Please highlight specific outcomes such as reduced waste, increased recycling rates, habitat restoration, energy savings, or community participation numbers.
