Chance to Dance Stars

A dance company changing the lives of children with SEND and their families has been nominated for Charity of the Year, sponsored by Cream Design.

Chance to Dance Stars

What began as a dance programme at Chance to Dance has grown into something much more, said the nominator. “It’s now a respite for families who need support, while also providing meaningful activities for children.”

The organisation offers a wide range of experiences, including dance, yoga, park visits, trips to community services, cinema outings and even shows on the West End, allowing the children to learn, socialise and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Chance to Dance Stars also hosts two showcases each year, in summer and at Christmas, giving families the chance to see and celebrate what their children have achieved.

“They also organise an annual fundraising ball to help keep the organisation going,” the nominator added, highlighting the dedication behind the scenes.

The group has recently taken children to Disneyland Paris to perform, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a chance to shine on an international stage.

“The difference Chance to Dance makes to children with SEN is amazing.”
